Welcare Breatheasy Peak Flow Meter Pack of 2

The Welcare Breatheasy Peak Flow Meter monitors peak expiratory flow rate to help detect narrowing airways, and is portable, easy to use and suitable for adults and children aged 5 years and over.

It features a simple monitoring system for peak expiratory flow with a measurement scale and adjustable colour zone marker, a built-in mouthpiece and a measuring range of 60 to 800 L per minute, all in a compact, portable design that is easy to interpret at a glance.

Directions:
Slide the pointer to the base of the scale and hold the meter horizontally in front of the mouth. Sit or stand upright, exhale fully, then inhale as deeply as possible and seal your lips around the mouthpiece. Blow out as hard and fast as possible for 2 to 3 seconds, then record the result. Repeat three times and record the highest reading.

Warnings:
Not suitable for users unable to complete a forced expiration or those showing signs of severe respiratory distress. A number of heart, lung and other medical conditions are relative contraindications, so speak with your health professional before use if any of these apply to you.
