Solosite Cooling, Soothing, Hydrating Gel

Solosite Gel is a cooling, soothing and hydrating gel that provides a moist environment at the wound surface to promote wound healing. It is suitable for minor burns, sunburn, cuts and grazes.

The gel is non-irritating and easy to apply and remove, needing only gentle irrigation for removal. It can also be used with a low adherent absorbent pad as a secondary dressing.

Directions:
Cleanse the wound with saline or a suitable cleansing solution. Cover the affected area with the gel, approximately 5mm thick, keeping the tube opening clear from the wound. Where practical, cover the wound with a suitably sized film or secured dressing. Replace the lid and store in a dry place below 250C. Reapply regularly for minor burns, including sunburn, and daily for other minor wounds. The gel can be removed by rinsing with clean drinkable water or saline solution.

Ingredients:
Purified water, glycerin, carboxymethylcellulose sodium, benzyl alcohol, methylparaben, propylparaben.

Warnings:
For external use only; do not take internally. For single patient use only. Use with care near the eyes, and rinse thoroughly with clean water if contact occurs. If in doubt, seek medical advice regarding the severity of the wound. Discontinue use and seek medical advice if sensitivity or irritation occurs, or if the condition does not improve within 7 days. Do not use if the tube is received open or damaged, or if the tamper evident seal is broken. Use within 3 months of opening and before the expiry date.
