Piksters Orthodontic Wax Pack of 2

Piksters Orthodontic Wax is a subtle mint-flavoured wax developed to protect against irritation, pain and ulceration caused by orthodontic brackets and wires, and comes in a convenient carry case.

Orthodontic brackets and wires can cause temporary irritation and ulceration of the tongue or lips while the mouth adjusts. Applying wax to a sharp protrusion helps take the pain away and gives ulcers a chance to heal, and the wax is easily warmed and softened by the fingers.

Directions:
Pinch off a piece of wax around 8mm long, using more or less as needed. Roll the wax into a ball with your fingers, then press it over the irritating bracket or wire and pack it around the wire it grips. Use your finger to shape the wax so the surface feels smooth to your lips and tongue. Reapply after every meal.
