Medi-Ice Pak Hot & Cold Gel Pack Medium 420g

The Medi-Ice Pak Hot & Cold Gel Pack Medium is a reusable gel pack that can be used cold from the freezer or heated for warmth.

It works by contracting blood vessels, which reduces internal bleeding and swelling while numbing pain and easing discomfort. Used cold, it can help with headaches, migraines, burns, scalds, toothache, insect bites, R.S.I. pain, muscle aches and sprains, tennis elbow, nosebleeds, prickly heat and most sporting injuries; used hot, it can help with backache, tense muscles, arthritic conditions and period pain.

For cold therapy, store the pack in the freezer and insert it into its cover before placing on the affected area. For heat therapy, place the pack flat in the microwave on its lowest setting for 2 minutes, or rest it in a suitable vessel of boiling water for 3-5 minutes to reach the required temperature.

Directions:
Cold therapy: store in the freezer, insert into the cover, then place on the affected area. Heat therapy: place flat in the microwave on the lowest setting for 2 minutes, or place in a suitable vessel and pour over boiling water, resting for 3-5 minutes to reach the required temperature.

Warnings:
Non-toxic; discard if punctured. Persons with circulatory problems should not use cold compression except as directed by a doctor. Do not heat in the microwave for more than 3 minutes at one time, as excessive heating may cause the pack to rupture or leak.
