The Medescan Multi-Function Thermometer is a 2-in-1 forehead and in-ear infrared thermometer, designed to check a sleeping baby's temperature without disturbing them.

Point the thermometer at the forehead and press scan for a reading, or remove the magnetic tip to reveal the ear probe; the device automatically switches to ear mode when the cover is removed. It offers separate adult and child modes for added accuracy, a large colour backlit display with sound warning for high temperatures, 40-reading memory recall and auto shut-off, and can also be used to check food, formula and bath temperatures.

Directions:
Insert the batteries, then press and release the Measure/Mute button for one second to power on. Use the Mode/Memory button to choose forehead or ear mode, then hold the probe 1-3cm from the centre of the forehead and press the Measure button for one second; a beep sounds when the reading is ready.

Warnings:
Keep out of reach of children under 12 years. Do not immerse the thermometer in water or other liquids, and do not use it in environments above 95% relative humidity. Keep it away from direct sun in a dry, dust-free area, and do not use if the measuring sensor shows signs of damage.
