The tape is chemically inert to rubber and plastics, well tolerated by the skin, and can be torn easily by hand, even lengthways. It is also radiotransparent and breathable. The antimicrobial surface of the spool and snap ring is designed to reduce MRSA by more than 99.9% within 6h.
