Chemists' Own PROCHECK Ferritin Rapid Test Cassette Whole Blood Pack of 4

The Chemists' Own PROCHECK Ferritin Rapid Test Cassette (Whole Blood) is a rapid test for the qualitative detection of ferritin in fingerstick blood, used to help identify iron deficiency anaemia. It has a blood ferritin cut-off concentration of 30 ng/mL; a secondary analytical method is needed to obtain a confirmed result.

Symptoms of iron deficiency can include tiredness, hair loss, weakness and brittle nails.

To use, wash and warm your hands, then clean the fingertip with the provided alcohol pad and use the lancet to obtain a blood drop. Collect the blood with the capillary dropper provided and apply it to the test cassette as directed in the pack instructions.
