Chemists' Own Oral Rehydration Salts are formulated to treat and prevent dehydration caused by diarrhoea and traveller's gastroenteritis in children and adults.

Each gluten free sachet is dissolved in water to make a rehydration drink that replaces the fluids, sugars and salts lost during illness.

Directions:
Empty one sachet into 200 mL of fresh drinking water and stir to dissolve. Do not add sugar, soft drinks or sweeteners. Take as required while diarrhoea is present; if vomiting is also present, drink in small amounts at first. Unused solution can be kept in the fridge for a short time, or should otherwise be discarded if not used promptly.

Ingredients:
Citric acid (sodium salt), glucose, potassium chloride, sodium chloride.

Warnings:
If symptoms worsen, diarrhoea persists, or urinary output decreases, seek medical advice.
