Allevyn Adhesive Foam Dressing is a 3 layer, highly absorbent, self-adhesive and waterproof dressing suited to moderate to heavy exudate, sized 7.5cm x 7.5cm.

The triple-layer construction combines an absorbent hydrocellular pad between a perforated adhesive wound contact layer and a waterproof outer film, supporting a moist wound healing environment while helping to prevent bacterial contamination and fluid strikethrough. It can be left in place for up to seven days without secondary fixation.

Directions:
Clean and dry the skin around the wound, allowing at least a 3cm border from the wound edge. A colour change over the wound area extending to 1cm from the dressing edge indicates the dressing needs changing.

Warnings:
Do not use with oxidising agents such as EUSOL or hydrogen peroxide, as these can break down the dressing's absorbent polyurethane component. Irritation or maceration of the surrounding skin may occur; discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if reddening or sensitisation occurs. This is a single use product only.
