Plunketts Microdacyn Wound Care Hydrogel is a leave-on gel used to hydrate and protect wounds. It is different to traditional antiseptics that can damage healthy skin, and is designed to establish a wound healing environment without irritation, stinging or staining.

The hydrogel helps reduce inflammation, maintains moisture in the wound bed and helps remove the microbes that can lead to infection. It can be used with wound dressings or sprayed directly onto wounds, and is suitable for all types of wounds and all ages, with no maximum treatment duration stated.

Directions:
Spray directly onto the wound or damaged area to a thickness of around 2-5mm, then cover and dress as appropriate. Reapply at each dressing change, up to three times a day. It is compatible with all wound dressings and can be used on its own or together with Microdacyn Solution for cleaning the wound.

Ingredients:
Electrolysed Water, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Magnesium Fluorosilicate, Sodium Phosphate, Sodium Hypochlorite, Hypochlorous Acid.
